This blog is set up as part of Nelson High School's 50th Anniversary event for former and current Nelson students and staff to communicate and interact. Please feel free to contribute comments and share ideas as we plan for 2007!

I am not a member of that website, but I am a member of Facebook.com (which has become an extremely popular website) and have created an event listing through it for this anniversary/reunion. I will invite everyone on my friend's list from that website, and through their friends and everything, this should inform quite a large percent of those who graduated from Nelson within the last five or six years. This will make the event listing active for discussion and various things until the party, and I put the Anniversary website up on Facebook as well.
This sounds like fun! I am glad that something like this is happening, and that I will be able to see all sorts of people for the first time in a few years (and I only graduated in 2002, so this must be very exciting for some of those who graduated in past decades!)

I went to Nelson in 1990,91, my first two years of high school. I'm looking forward to the re-union! I agree, that facebook is a very new but busy sight where many people will find other Nelsoners.
